Pete's Bagels

Update: We liked it so much that we went back Sunday, too! Got there at 10:30 am, definitely not as long a wait. Fresh bagel flavors came out while I was in line. Got the onion garlic breakfast sandwich with scallion cream cheese, cheddar, egg & added bacon. Wish they had regular sausage & not just vegan but no big deal, I like bacon. Wish there were more than 2 pieces of bacon so I could actually taste it, especially since it's $2 extra dollars & not included in the $7.50 breakfast sandwich price. It's still a good bagel sandwich, even for $10. The major difference today was the girl running the register. Saturday, the girl doing it was super friendly & a delight. Wish I could say the same for the girl working on Sunday. I read other reviews about rude service yesterday & was surprised, but then today I understood. We went for the first time today & loved it! It was Saturday morning, and we got there around 11am. There was definitely a line, so be ready to wait, but it was totally worth it. We got an everything bagel & a salt bagel both with jalapeño cream cheese. Best jalapeño cream cheese I've ever had & I've had a lot. Bagels were nice & chewy with the perfect amount of cream cheese. Service was fast, friendly & efficient. We will definitely be back!

I visited on a Sunday before 9 and there was a decent line. Definitely a popular place for breakfast! I had the original Pete on an everything which I really liked. The bagel was really good but next time I would probably get something like a garlic or salt bagel for this. The cucumber slices were pretty thick too so I might hold those too. Otherwise a great bagel at a place that definitely respects the schmear 🤌 Follow up: I visited a second time and ordered the millennial. Its delicious as long as you like pickled onion and avocado! Definitely worth a visit

Pete’s is always phenomenal, best bagels in town by far, but today was extra special, so I had to share! I was greeted by Ben at the register and told him that I was torn between a Bacon, Egg & Cheese or a Salty Pete (Cream Cheese & Seasonal Jam on a Salt Bagel) and the Salty Pete w/ Bacon was born!! Ben is an absolute hero for suggesting this, because of course bacon is an incredible addition to literally anything and this secret sandwich will definitely be part of my regular rotation now! HIDDEN GEM 💎✨ I recently had the pleasure of visiting Pete's Bagels in St. Petersburg, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. This charming local bagel shop has quickly become one of my favorite breakfast spots in town. The bagels at Pete's are nothing short of fantastic. I particularly enjoyed their Millennial Bagel Sandwich with a fried egg, it was a amazingly good. It totally hit the spot! Their indoor seating has a mini local shop in it, kinda like a general store vibe of what's made local. The outdoor patio looks like a secret little garden! The staff is friendly and eager to assist with your order, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you're in St. Petersburg and craving a delicious bagel, Pete's Bagels is the place to go. Whether you're a local or just passing through, you won't be disappointed by the tasty bagels and warm hospitality at this gem of a bagel shop. I'll definitely be back for more!

What a fun and popular bagel shop! The line was long, but definitely worth the wait. I got the original Pete which was Lox, capers, onions, tomato, and cream cheese on a poppy bagel. We also did the breakfast sandwich with bagel and chive cream cheese added- they were delicious. Bagels run out quick so get there early for best selection!
